“Wayne, did you hand in your homework? It’s due today.”
my teacher asked.
All I liked to do every day was fly a kite and play soccer. After school, my friends and I went home to put down our school bags. Not long after that, one of my buddies was standing at my door. When my mom saw him, she asked, “How soon will you come back, Wayne?” “In half an hour.” I replied.
On rainy days, one way to spend my time was to stay indoors and read. As a handsome boy, of course I started reading books from the bookcase. One day, I dreamed that I would successfully marry a beautiful princess.
However, the trick failed. By not following school rules, I got into much trouble. During the exam, I stretched my neck like a giraffe to look at my classmates’ answers. Unfortunately, the teacher caught me and made me stand in the school hall. While standing as punishment, I saw the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. I hid behind a corner and secretly watched her. I wondered when we would finally meet and fall in love with each other.
A fair teenager should think about well-being. Otherwise, when he becomes an old man, he may have no one to talk to and feel lonely. I thought I should take the chance and let our relationship grow. I decided to improve myself by studying hard and often walking my dog past her house. Occasionally, I heard her singing and was deeply moved. I started learning music. After that,I hoped that one day I could impress her with a love song and good grades. Yesterday, on the school bus,she asked me, “Would you mind my sitting here?” Maybe my love story was about to begin. Come on!
