〈Please don’t leave me〉描绘的是一段即将走到尽头的关系里，女孩最后一次、也是最小声的挽留。不是歇斯底里的哭喊，而是分手前夕最真实的脆弱，心里仍想抓住对方，但语句却在喉间轻颤。

这首歌的诞生由芙里安与学生时期比赛结识的好友张凯、谢维椿共同 cowrite。灵感来自动漫《未来日记》中的女主角“我妻由乃”，其表面完美、暗地偏执却深情的病娇特质，使这段情绪有了更鲜明的投射。三位创作者多年累积的音乐默契，使这首歌的情绪线条格外纯粹，更贴近那句“不敢说出口的祈求”。

有趣的是，创作当天制作人甚至没有带电脑，所有音色是以 Logic 内建音色 ＋ 一台年代久远的电子琴拼凑而成。少了大量设备，反而让这首歌的底色更直接、更本能，像是三个人共同守住的一个小宇宙。

音乐上，作品以柔雾质地的 Dream pop 为底，以空气感十足的电钢琴与极简拍点构成骨架，并透过延迟、残响与低频留白，拉出一种“快要散开的距离感”。芙里安声线的颤动被刻意保留，贴近耳语般的细节，使整首歌像在胸腔里振动，既亲密又遥远。

芙里安以标志性的空灵质感与纤细情绪，呈现“不确定、还想挽回、却又害怕破碎”的临界状态。淡粉与雾色氛围交织出的编曲像一场不愿醒来的梦，藏著留恋，也藏著不愿被看见的痛。在这首歌里，她以低语般的声线告白“爱不是大声才真实，有时最温柔的祈求反而最痛。” 而这首歌，正静静停在那个尚未放手的瞬间。
