One Way to Save the Stars

一首以“单程任务”为核心的太空叙事作品
故事从一名被派往深空的任务者开始，没有返航、
没有保证，只剩下一个方向。

不是关于征服宇宙的英雄故事，更像是一段，
在极度安静中，慢慢发生的对话。

当人类的讯号逐渐消散，在几乎无法被回应的距离之外，
某种未知的存在开始靠近。不是语言，也不是讯息，
而是一种微弱、难以理解，却无法忽视的回应。

孤独、失重，到逐渐建立连结，
刻意保留空间与停顿，让“沉默”成为叙事的一部分。

在音乐推进之下，这段任务的意义也悄悄转变，
从“拯救某个遥远的星辰”，变成“确认我们并不孤单”。

这首歌没有真正的结局～
只留下两个仍在靠近的存在，以及一段还没说完的讯号。

I left before the morning broke

A line about humanity
But all I heard was quiet space
And a seat with no way back

I checked the systems one more time
Not because I had to
Just needed something to hold on to
Before letting go

Every signal stretching thin
Every second drifting out
If there’s something out there listening
Don’t let this be where I fade

Alone in the deep, I’m moving through the dark
A voice with no reply
Carrying the weight of a dying spark
Trying not to ask why
Two distant suns I’ve never seen
Still burning in my chest
If I can reach what lies between
Maybe we’ll have something left

Days don’t feel like days out here
Time just folds into itself
I talk to screens that never answer
Like they’re somebody else
First contact wasn’t what we thought
No language, no clear sign
Just patterns bending into shapes
Like something trying

I slowed it down, I played it back
There was rhythm in the noise
Not a message I could read
But not silence either

It was reaching through the static
Like it knew I was alone
If this is how we start a sentence
I won’t let it end unknown

Alone in the deep, I’m drifting out of time
But something feels alive
Through all the silence, through the endless night
There’s something on the line
Two separate worlds that never meet
Now pulling into phase
If I can hold this fragile thread
We might not drift away

I stopped trying to translate it
Just listened
There was a pause…
then it changed
Not louder
Just closer

I’m not here to conquer anything
Not here to claim the sky
Just trying to keep a fading fire
From quietly going out
If you can hear me through the dark
However far you are
I don’t need to understand
Just don’t let this fall apart

Alone in the deep, I was never meant to stay
But I kept moving on
Now something answers in its own strange way
Like I was not alone
Two distant suns begin to align
Across an endless frame
If this is how two worlds collide
Then maybe we can change

No longer just one voice.
