"Memoirs • Seventeen" is a song specially composed for CM117, capturing the emotional journey of classmates from our first meeting to the lasting bond we now share.
The title "Seventeen" (壹柒) not only represents our class number but also embodies the spirit of Ichigo Ichie (一期一会) — the idea that every encounter is a once-in-a-lifetime moment to be cherished.

The lyrics vividly portray scenes from the life of Chinese medicine students, such as pulse-taking with silver needles, and the intense study of biochemistry and anatomy.

Lines like "I am not the sun, unable to melt the frost" and "I am not the lighthouse, unsure if I can light the way" reflect the inner doubts and uncertainties we face as medical students looking forward to an unknown future.
