达摩乐队以佛(道)教为出发期盼引起人们的对信仰文化之注意。全球信仰年龄层逐渐老化，然而信仰文化为人类历史中不可或缺的一部份。达摩乐队以一种全新的方式来演绎东方古老的佛曲，深入全球各乐团演出及音乐祭场景，透过音乐我们期望能够影响到年轻一代，发挥潜移默化的作用来传播我们的信仰和理念。

我们也希望您也能成为佛教徒，但我们尊重每一种不同的宗教或良好的信仰甚至仅是良善的信念。 我们的音乐适合所有信仰、肤色及理念的人们，也适合根本没有宗教信仰的人们。我们认为信仰不一定是佛教，道教、基督教、天主教、回教也可以是良善的信念有爱的人间。

Dharma is quite likely the first band in the world to combine ancient and traditional Buddhist sutras with the modern style of death metal.

The inherit ferocity of death metal augments the will of the scriptures to instill within the listener a sense of spiritual relief and undeniable passsion through the release of karma.

〈大悲咒〉出自《大悲心陀罗尼经》，“陀罗尼”，即“咒”的意思。〈大悲咒〉为千手千眼观世音菩萨的根本咒，共八十四句。此咒主要为彰显菩萨的大悲愿力，能利益安乐一切众生，恶业消除、随心满愿的威神之力。 “The Great Compassion Dharani” comes from the “Nilakantha Dharani.” “Dharani” is another word for sutra (or mantra), and the Great Compassion Dharani is the basic sutra for calling upon the blessings of the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva with Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes, with 84 phrases in total.
