P.H.0 [P-H-"zero"] is New York City's latest offering—a self-described SILKPUNK quartet reshaping the East Coast underground. Fusing the raw intensity of metal with the cyber-dystopian textures of modular synths, they craft soundscapes that are at once chaotic and controlled, futuristic and ancient, sacred and primal. At the heart of it all is the haunting cry of the Chinese erhu, anchoring their hybrid sound with a deep connection to their East Asian heritage. The result: a sound both expansive and fierce, evoking a world where Taoist rituals crash into hardcore mosh pits, with ear-crushing electronics blazing under glowing blood-red neon. This vision comes alive in their explosive live shows, which they refer to as “rituals.”
